Councillor for Education, Ana Fernandez Bastida, accompanied by José Miguel Muñoz, skilled and who will give the conference this morning gave information about stressing its importance.
Fernandez made it clear that it is intended "to give parents the tools to protect their children from the dangers of the Internet."
The mayor noted that the conference was motivated because he had found that in most cases parents are "not aware of their children do use the Internet."
However, the mayor also made mention of the great benefits that are obtained in the network provided that the proper use of it.
For its part, the subject matter expert, who has been giving this type of training for more than five years and works directly with the Crime Telematics Group of the Guardia Civil, the conference emphasized that lasts just over an hour, and which is open to questions from the audience.
Muñoz stressed that the habitat of the children and youth of today is very different from what was the adults of today, as it is based mostly on the Internet and all its possibilities so that "we must educate differently" .
"The conference will show the virtues of the tool, but also warns of the dangers," the speaker clarified that ensured through certain rules "very simple", parents can prevent their children commit offenses and entering inconvenient places.

However, children under 15 can not register with social networks.
