The City Council of Alhama de Murcia has started a course this morning working on sewing partner.
The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron Fernando Morales, accompanied by the mayor of Social Welfare, Maria Carmen Diaz and the mayor of Environment, Diego Huertas, they welcomed the students selected for the workshop.
Training is organized by the Abraham Project, under the collaboration agreement signed with the City, through the Department of Environment, for the collection and management of household waste textiles, footwear and toys.
As part of the agreement, the Abraham Project is committed to provide training courses for free, for the recovery of ancient crafts.
In 2012 we conducted a shoemaking course that very good results were obtained.
The Abraham Project: Non-profit association whose main objective the fight against poverty and social exclusion in the region of Murcia and in their social projects is among others, occupational program, which houses the workshop Sewing.
The workshop is 40 hours.
From Monday to Friday and includes four hours a day, from 9:30 to 13:30 hours.
