The city of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Presidency has organized visits by pupils in school and Primary Education of the municipality to the Consistory.
The purpose of the visits is to offer students the opportunity to learn firsthand about the institution, the functioning of its governing bodies, as well as the main symbols that identify alhameños: the shield and banner.
The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron Fernando Morales, along with the mayor of Presidency, Carmen Maria Rodriguez and Council of Education and the Environment, received this morning at the first scheduled visit of students from Elementary 4th CEIP Ricardo Codorniu.
The tour was begun with the explanations on the building housing the Town Hall and the symbols of the city.
Students have traveled all agencies of the City accompanied by the mayor and the mayor of the Presidency, as well as responsible for the Protocol Office and the Press, who has guided the visit.
Students have followed carefully the explanations of the mayor, the House, the Advisory Committees, the Local Government Board, the Councils and municipal groups.
They have visited the boardroom of Local Government and the House, where they simulated a plenary session occupying council positions and mayor, have taken time to make suggestions and proposals.
Finally, the mayor, Fernando Alfonso Ceron has welcomed them into his office, where students have exchanged opinions.
For the visit, the Department of the Presidency by the Works and Services have published a newsletter on the functioning and organs of our City.
The brochure includes pictures, sketches and designs for your content to be easily understood by students.
Visits proposals have attracted interest from schools and are already provided almost every Wednesday and Friday in April and May with virtually all of the town centers.
