The city of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Social Welfare, has signed an agreement with the Red Cross Local Assembly involving the management streamlining urgently needed aid.
The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Morales Fernando Ceron, by the Local Assembly President Francisco Belchí, have signed a document for collaboration between the city and Red Cross and allow to address urgent economic situations arising at the families and citizens registered in Alhama de Murcia, through the aid program that develops Urgent Need Alhama Red Cross.
The agreement is that the City provides to the Red Cross the amount of 8,000 euros to cover those costs, providing necessary information for the assessment and evaluation of the Red Cross requests made more fair and correct, and providing advice precise technical staff by the Social Welfare Department.
The agreement provides aid modalities and amount, beneficiaries requirements and justification of appropriate use of aid by them.
It also establishes a commission to monitor and collect the official application of aid.
