Over a dozen people have participated in this workshop that has lasted 40 hours
The Ministry of Health and Social Policy, in collaboration with the city of Alhama de Murcia and Abraham Project has developed a sewing workshop aimed at more than a dozen people at risk of social exclusion.
The CEO of Social Policy, Leopoldo Navarro, praised the joint collaboration between government and the Association for Project Abraham "the objective is to fight against poverty, social exclusion, retrieve old jobs, promote employment and encourage self-employment" .
In total, more than a dozen people who participated in this training that has lasted 40 hours.
In this program, an occupational participants were able to learn basic sewing notions and take action, to stitches, seaming or arrangements.
The CEO said that "thus promotes equal opportunities and undertake policies based on social inclusion and integration work of those who are faring worse."
Finally, Navarro recalled the regional government's commitment to such initiatives and, therefore, said that "we collaborate with organizations and associations working against poverty and social exclusion to serve the most vulnerable."
