The City Council of Alhama de Murcia again hosts the University of Mar offering the course "Assessment and management of Mediterranean ecosystems in the European context: new challenges, new approaches", to be held from 24 to 27 June.
The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Morales Fernando Ceron, by the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Development and Training, Fernando Martin Rubio and accompanied by Diego Huertas Martinez, Councillor for the Environment, the area involved in the course, and one of its co-directors, Illuminated Pagan Abellán, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Murcia, have realized the details of the formation.
Alhama Mayor stressed the importance, for Alhama de Murcia, has the environment noting that 60% of the municipality has some protection.
In this line of work, the mayor has expressed his satisfaction that Alhama is home to the University of the Sea, also with a course that will highlight the importance of protected areas as in Alhama de Murcia.
For his part, the representative of the University of Murcia, stressed the support of the city of Alhama de Murcia Mar University whose courses comes invoking years.
Have been Illuminated Pagan who underlined the interest of Alhama course in which, precisely because of the special characteristics of their environment, the lectures will be supported with practical experience.
The course will take place from 24 to 27 June to stakeholders and can register via the web www.um.es / unimar in the registration form.
The payment of 80 euros for tuition, may also be made through the website or through various banks.
Also, stakeholders may also exercise the option of accommodation in the hostel Ral house under an agreement reached by the city of Alhama de Murcia with the Church owned the hostel.
