It's open enrollment period for Filmmaking Course VIII, organized by the Department of Culture and Heritage of Alhama de Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of History of Art and the association Procine UMU.
The registration process will remain open until all 20 places available, which will be first come ascribe.
The activity will take place in Alhama from 22 to 29 June, with a total of 60 lessons.
Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, accompanied by the professor at the University of Murcia and course director, have realized this afternoon of the details of this course, national character, which is hosting the town from its inception.
The course fee, 360 euros, including full board and lodging in the house-hostel El Ral, professional digital equipment, and personalized teaching and eminently practical, which is complete with production classes, script, direction, interpretation for film and installation.
Students receive a copy of the four short films made during the course, which will be screened on Saturday, June 29 at the House of Culture in Alhama de Murcia.
The course, which began in 2005 under the direction of Juan Francisco Ceron, has always had the presence of students from across the region of Murcia and from different parts of Spain.
Among the teachers, the presence of two of the most important filmmakers Murcia, Juan Carlos Martinez and David Perea and Catalan director, Xavi Puebla, which has recently released the feature film A cold harbor, starring Antonio Dechent, Maria Valverde and Nick Nolte, and which won the Critics Award at the Festival de Málaga 2010.
