On Friday afternoon 31, the Children's Traffic Park, celebrated its local championship, on an annual basis, in the final of which involved 30 children of the 70 who started the competition.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Alhama, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, the mayor and local police, Angela Sanchez, who presented the awards along the local body Sergeant Jose Clares.
Also present was the Education Coordinator of the Provincial Road Traffic, Maria Ubeda.
In the competition the winner was Pedro Gonzalez.
Followed Elena Valverde, Victoria Cortez, Maria Romero, Maria Jimenez, Elena Lopez, Juan Carlos Jimenez and Francisco Jose Garcia respectively.
In addition, this first eight succulent winning children received gifts plus a medal in memory of their participation they received all children who took part in the competition.
Specifically, the winners were, in order, a laptop, an Xbox 250 GB + Kinect and 3 games, TV Samsung 22 "LED, a tablet touch (Sonfer 7"), a mobile phone Samsung two portable receivers, vouchers and school supplies for the seventh and eighth.
The city of Alhama de Murcia has been developing since 1985 a Driver Education Program for schoolchildren in the municipality whose goal is to motivate you in learning and compliance with traffic regulations, as well as sensitize them aware in preventing accidents from the first ages.
The Local Competition Driver Education has been aimed at the students of 6th year of primary education.
Driver education is one of the activities developed by the local police officers through the Children's Traffic Park to direct and organize.
