The city of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Women, renews agreement with drug dependence therapeutic community Prosauces "Fleets" to keep open the information point in the center of our town, in the basement of the Center Senior Municipal.
The Department of Women took the initiative to establish an information point within the municipality, together with the center of "The Fleet" because it is center where there are more women at the regional level.
The assessment made by both professionals providing the service as users of it, is positive.
After a year of its opening, it has served a total of 68 people.
The 75% of people who have attended the first interview were women.
Mainly, the type of service provided has been facing, and to a lesser extent, income and referral requests.
The Councillor, Lola Canovas, says the aim is to provide women and / or family access to professionals and resources in drug addiction
The information point is open on Tuesdays from 9.30 to 13.30 hours in the basement of Municipal Center for Seniors, located in Parque la Cubana.
