On Thursday, the Minister of Agriculture and Water, together with the Mayor of Alhama and the headman of Gebas, became the cornerstone of the treatment plant Gebas.
It was certainly a historic day for this district since more than 10 years ago, that the neighbors are demanding a solution to the problems of sanitation and purification of the water and thanks to the commitment of the regional government, in this case through the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, which directs the Chief Antonio Cerda, the water can be reused for irrigation, respecting the environment, as this hamlet is located in the Regional Park of Sierra Espuna.
The investment of the treatment plant and the collector is more than 200,000 and the execution time was around 3 months.
The plant will not cause any visual impact, as it will be integrated seamlessly into the environment have the capacity to provide service in the future to 200 people and comprises tertiary sector so that the water will completely transparent and clean, can be harnessed for irrigation.
Then along with the headman of El Berro, visited the site of the new treatment plant is also being built there, works that are very advanced and are expected to be completed later this year.
These works carried out by the regional government, represent the most important infrastructure investments in both districts in years.
