The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of "Plan against burglary of the Secretariat of State for Security", has developed the operation "SCUBA", which has resulted in the arrest of two people suspected of this type of crime in Alhama de Murcia.
Within the operation have been clarified, so far, a dozen crimes, eleven robberies inside homes located in a neighborhood of Alhama de Murcia and one for receiving stolen objects.
Furthermore, it has recovered some of the stolen, that after being brought to justice, have been returned to their rightful owners.
The Civil Guard began the investigation into a series of burglaries in homes in a neighborhood of Alhama de Murcia, mostly second homes, in order to clarify the crimes and arrest those responsible.
The Meritorious saw how the crimes were committed by a person who had easy access to the area.
After verifying that the houses were not occupied, forced the doors of the terraces to get inside and steal, mainly kitchen appliances such as ovens, ceramic hobs and televisions.
From the evidence obtained, the officers verified the involvement in the theft of a person with numerous police records for this type of crime and temporarily residing in the development.

The result of the investigation, the Civil Guard found that the suspect was carrying stolen items to Madrid, place of habitual residence, and later sell them, an operation performed quickly.
In addition, the suspect advertisements published in various websites, with the intention to facilitate a sale anonymous and discreet.
After establishing the corresponding device search, we proceeded to the location and arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the crime of burglary in homes.
The analysis of the information obtained in the investigation has allowed eleven clarifying agents theft crimes inside homes in a neighborhood of Alhama de Murcia.
Similarly, a person has been arrested on suspicion of crime of receiving, by buying stolen goods at a price below the market price.
Detained
As part of the operation has proceeded to the arrest of two persons, the first of them on charges of burglary and second for the crime of receiving, identified as:
- Spanish, 31 year-old resident of Madrid.
- Spanish, 37 year-old resident of San Javier.
One of those arrested has numerous precedents for committing similar crimes.
Recovered Effects
So far, they have recovered several stolen effects which, after being brought to justice, have been returned to their rightful owners.
The operation is still open, so do not rule out further performances and arrests and the recovery of more stolen items.
The detainees, effects recovered and proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 4 of Totana (Murcia).
