For the second consecutive year, Columbus Day, October 12, has had a tribute to the Flag by the Civil Guard.
The headquarters based in Alhama has held, as usual, the day of their patron saint, the Virgen del Pilar in an emotional ceremony.
At midnight came the military body to the church of Saint Lazarus accompanied by the band of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows and Soledad.
In the parish, had a Mass at which was present the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia and various members of the Municipal Corporation.
At the end, in the same court of St. Lazarus, to the sound of the national anthem, as is required, was hoisted the flag that represents us all Spanish by two members of the body of the worthy.
Also placed two laurel wreaths in memory of the missing members of the body.
