The city of Alhama de Murcia, through its Department of Social Welfare reports that gathered associations and NGOs in social the municipality with its own council, have made the decision to take up a collection to raise money to help the victims by the disaster that has devastated the Philippines.
The campaign will consist of a collection of solidarity that will take place throughout the morning of Tuesday, December 19.
Several volunteers, armed with tins, tour the town and the market itself in search of solidarity and generosity of alhameņos.
Proceeds will be sent through the Red Cross.
Last week a typhoon of maximum degree with extreme brutality shaking the Philippine archipelago slaughtering entire populations and depriving survivors of such basic things as food and water.
This is one of the worst natural disasters in history that has devastated parts of the islands.
In this situation, everyone's help is essential and Alhama de Murcia volunteers understand they can not stay away, why are planned in this collection that have the great generosity and solidarity of alhameņos.
