The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron Fernando Morales, was guest speaker at one of the roundtables held during IV Residential Tourism Day celebrated in San Pedro del Pinatar.
Accompanied by the mayors of Industry, Ignacio Martínez and Works and Services, Miguel Gonzalez, the team responsible for local government used his speech to talk about the many benefits of the municipality.
The workshops were attended by representatives of the main sectors of residential tourism in our region as well as with investors or Russia, France, Benelux, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and China.
The mayor, with the aldermen who accompanied him, gave dossiers with full information on our town.
He also exchanged collected some here were interested in building the future spa Alhama de Murcia.
Through a careful screening, the mayor spoke of the importance of the environment in the town and the protection of the various spaces around us.
He also spoke of the General Municipal Management Plan, fully approved residential tourist therein specified and the benefits of the Infrastructure Plan that coordinates and ensures the sustainability of these spaces under the plan.
He also outlined the benefits of the Industrial Park Alhama both its location and its characteristics that differentiate it from other parks in the region.
The cultural heritage of the city through its museum and touring the rest of spaces like the Church of St. Lazarus was another that the mayor gave his speech.

In summary, the mayor revealed to the more than one hundred attendees, who Alhama de Murcia is the heart of the region, as its slogan reads, in communications, space, urbanism, heritage and perspectives.
The conference, which was inaugurated by the Board of Public Works and Territory and Culture and Tourism and closed by the General Secretariat of Tourism Isabel Borrego.
