After reaching a preliminary agreement between company representatives and committee members, late on Wednesday, and being supported that agreement, following a vote by the majority of workers in the company, the strike call indefinite From the 1st of December, has been suspended.
In our party, we were very concerned about this conflict, which put at grave risk, work and the future of many alhameñas families as well as the viability of the company, therefore we provide our satisfaction with the agreement reached, avoiding a strike long and hard, that damaged all parties and ultimately the people of Alhama.
We believe that the agreement is satisfactory for both parties and we want to congratulate the company, unions and all workers, for following dialogue to reach agreement, after days of intense and difficult negotiations.
