Representatives of associations of Alhama de Murcia visited in the morning of Saturday, March 1, gaps of Salinas de Alhama, located in the industrial area of ​​Salinas, a space that has a high ecological value, which is home to a resident and breeding of Malvasia cabeciclanca population and a rich and diverse community of salt marsh vegetation, endangered species nationwide.
Before the site visit, representatives of associations received all the information about the project in the hall of the House of Culture, where they proposed to be eligible for the various activities planned.
The maintenance of these ponds is possible thanks to the "Conservation of White-headed Duck in the Region of Murcia" project is funded by the European Union through the LIFE + program, and has the backing of the Autonomous Community and the Department of Environment Atmosphere of Alhama de Murcia.
