Foundation Workers ELPOZO FOOD donated 2,000 euros to the Therapeutic Community Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Fleets, Alhama de Murcia.
This center, the largest capacity for attention to women in the Region of Murcia, with 21 people hospitalized, and staffed by 7 professional, aims to help people get off drugs and dependencies.
With this gesture, FOOD ELPOZO workers continue to demonstrate their interest in supporting the most disadvantaged people in society.
ELPOZO workers, solidarity
Foundation Workers ELPOZO FOOD is a non-profit organization, aims to develop welfare purposes and social and cultural advancement of workers of the organization, which now exceeds 3,600 people.
Specifically, the foundation conducts welfare activities such as the provision of support and collaboration to people in need.
Social support, collaborating with other NGOs and cultural programs, in turn providing the beneficiaries of the Foundation training or academic studies.
It also ensures the free time of its partners, through the organization of sporting, artistic and educational meetings.
The foundation draws mixed funding to 50% thanks to the workers and the company, and each of them has four representatives on the board of trustees.
Only in the last year, the Foundation has collaborated with major financial contributions to the Spanish Association Against Cancer, with Munuera Francisco Foundation, whose main goal is rehabilitation, inclusion and integration of individuals and families with a diagnosis of mental illness in society.
It is also supporting Doctors Without Borders, the Association for Rare Diseases and other disorders of the D'GENES Development Graves.
He has worked in the construction of a school for girls and women in Mangacounda (Senegal) and is funding Man Project.
