The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Seniors presents the twenty-fourth edition of Seniors Week to be held from June 9 to June 15, 2014.
Mari Carmen Diaz, Senior Councillor, has been commissioned to present the activities to be held throughout the week beginning Monday, June 9, with the election of the King and Queen of the largest and great competition pasodobles enlivened by the Duo "blog".
On Tuesday, June 10, the exhibition of handicrafts and works of craft workshops and tailoring will open and proceed to the awards of the various championships pitch, dominoes, subastao and brisca in the TV room municipal senior center.
The talk, "Feel good, happy and please feel pretty or handsome", by CEPEP, took place on June 11 at the senior center salon.
The next day, Thursday, June 12, in the same place laughter therapy workshop for seniors, organized by Tunstall Televida be held.
The traditional poetry reading seniors and award poetry contest will be held on Friday afternoon in the salon senior center and will feature performances of tuna Totana.
Finally, this year on Sunday June 15 will be held at Municipal Auditorium a festival of music and folklore for seniors will involve workshop guitar, lute and mandolin the senior center, the group of popular music workshop Musicians Sonata and The Coast Gang, "Golden Age", "Friends of the Night", "Aires de Espuña" and "La Colla Ramblar".
