The hamlet of Gebas feature an equestrian center that aims, among other things, to highlight the important tourist potential of the area.
The project was presented on Tuesday 17 at the Community Center of the hamlet by the president of the Cavalli Foundation, Veronica Campillo, ceremony attended by the mayor of the Consistory, Fernando Alfonso Ceron and Councilwoman hamlets Maria Jose Ceron and headman, Bernardo Garcia.
The Foundation, which already has facilities in the hamlet of La Costera, achieved through a public competition, the 20-year concession of a municipal farm in the hamlet of Gebas.
The setting of the Canyons Gebas is the destination of choice to develop this project, due in part to the high landscape value of the area declared a protected landscape.
The project has been developed around this condition, and the philosophy of permaculture, which advocates going with nature and not against it.

As for the distribution of future facilities, a total of 520,210 square meters, only partially intervene in 82,942 square meters, of which 15% will go to the construction and modification of land, reserving the remaining 85% as countryside.

The activities to be developed in the future will Cavalli Rancho:
Sustainable Tourism and Leisure: equestrian, business, education, health, tourism and agro-tourism asset.
Education, Training and Sports: centered riding, summer school, and activities in English colonies, group visits / tours ycursos training / clinics.
Alternative Therapies in Nature: assisted therapy horses and animals, therapeutic gardening and holistic therapies.
Rescue, Shelter and Rehabilitation horses: boarding, rehabilitation, retirement and horse adoption.
According to Veronica Campillo, is expected to inaugurate the new facility by September, but the entire project will be performing "according to our possibilities," he says.
The Cavalli Foundation comes from the hand of the founders of two entities born to the couple in 2006. Murciana On one hand Terapaias Equestrian Association (AMTE), created to raise awareness of the benefits of Assisted Therapy with horses and to professionalize the sector in the Region of Murcia.
On the other hand, META Equestrian (Equestrian and Media Assisted Therapies) that was created to educate young horsemen and women and to promote equestrian tourism in the area.
The Cavalli Foundation is established to solve the situation of neglect and animal abuse motivated in part by the economic situation in the region of Murcia and to maintain the living essence of these two entities.
Thus was born in 2013 as a non-profit organization comprised of a multidisciplinary team, whose overall objective Rescue, Rehabilitate welcome and Horses, Ponies and Donkeys and develop educational, therapeutic and idle, mutual welfare programs up in Nature .
