The People's Party of Alhama de Murcia wishes to express its support for the proposal of our City Council, approved last plenary opening a procedure for granting occupancy of a parcel of Las Salinas industrial park, construction and operation of a plant agro-biogas project whose physical implementation will involve an investment of almost EUR 2 million and it will be quite beneficial to the industrial park, and for our City.
The company that gets done with the issue, in an open, public and transparent process, perform an activity, we can consider the public interest, as a renewable energy facility that will treat biodegradable waste, sewage sludge, municipal solid waste, waste livestock and agricultural, etc.., giving solution to the problem that the companies face polygon to eliminate this waste.
But not only is this positive aspect, but the implementation of this facility will add value to our polygon and a new attraction for companies that may be interested in setting up in the park, as they will be able to have the energy produced by the biogas plant, remembering that from an environmental point of view will be a great improvement to the air pollution.
So we struggle to understand the position of the opposition groups, with reluctance and hesitation toward this project, because we are convinced that this facility will bring many advantages and benefits, both economically and environmentally.
On the other hand we also agree with the statements of two of the motions filed by the group of IU-Green, one of the need to seek recovery of sums charged by the tribute health cent, once the EU we sentenced it was not legal to cash, something already working technicians the City, and the other on reform promoted by the Ministry of Justice on Civil and Justices of the Peace Records, advocating for our party at the local level not make a profound reform so remaining in the Civil Registers and justices of the peace in towns like Alhama, which has no district court.
Finally we regret, once again, the awkward pose Socialist spokesman, trying to justify the reason for urgency, to include last minute as a point in plenary, the motion for the continued support to the school cafeteria in the months Summer, a motion to consider from our party is opportunistic, creating a social unfounded alarm because in that case and was given full information to Socialist councilor by the Department of Social Welfare, having delivered the response to his motion writing.
We believe that as sensitive as it should not be paid subject to the political game, as the Socialist spokesman knows that the children are talking and they'll be well looked after by Social Services and will continue to have their food needs covered during the summer.
