The IU-Greens deputy, José Antonio Pujante, today defended in Parliament the regional parliament that no public endorsement of the Paramount theme park is not granted as a project that "may jeopardize the public purse."
"Pretty've had with the guarantee granted Corvera airport and now we have to assume at the expense of other priorities such as education, health, dependency and the fight against poverty," she added.
To Pujante, the project must have a "clear oversight" in order to "avoid any benefit from the public and it involves a new prejudice" to the regional economy.
In addition, such monitoring must also offer an environmental guarantee "given that those who promote this initiative - Jesus Samper is charged precisely for urban corruption."
To this he has added that there is a Constitutional Court ruling that affects the area where it is intended to develop the project in Alhama de Murcia.
In his opinion, the PP "has tried to sell a motorcycle to citizenship, an illusion securing jobs, something that is neither more nor less smoke and a new deception to give the impression that it will create jobs with this project ".
