Alhama City, through its Department of Training and Employment, reports that last Monday, September 15, took place at the Center for Employment Training and the start of the course Introduction to Linux OS that will run for 30 hours and will be held until 2 October at 22:30 hours to 20 h.
This course was integrated into the training program of the Department of Education, Employment and Local Development for Informatics and ICT, collecting suggestions in the Local Council of Economy and Employment, in order to provide users with basic knowledge of installation and operation of a free operating system that can be installed free of charge and requires lower levels of protection.
As usual, at the beginning of the course was attended by the Councillor for Education and Employment, Sebastián Moreno, to welcome the students and wish them a good course.
Moreno said he was surprised by the positive reception of this course, which has been sued by about 27 people, most of them unemployed.
The mayor also said the Department of Training and Employment is to be receiving training concerns and demands that come from various sectors, trying to answer them, whenever possible.
This is the first edition which of course free software, by the municipality of Alhama.
In this regard, new editions are planned if there is sufficient demand.
