The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through its Department of Culture and Heritage has presented this week at a press conference the cultural program of the second half of the year.
Responsible for presentation to the media has been the Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Carmen Maria Rodriguez Canovas.
Among the main activities taking place within the cultural program is the theater, both child and family, as the adult.
Also, exposures also charge a great importance in the various public rooms.
Continue visits Castle Alhama de Murcia, in high demand in recent months and third Sundays of each month dramatized visits the old town of the town will be developed.
A new feature is the first Festival of Shorts "CortoEspaña 2014" to be held throughout the month of November.
Also novel special visits to the museum to be held under the title, "Ramón y Cajal: A journey through the history of the Baths through the water."
Theatre for all ages
Over the next week, from Monday 22 September to Friday 26 September the "Week of Children and Family Theatre" will be held in the town Velasco Film in the afternoon of 18'30h.
"Although admission is free you need to collect the same invitation to the museum, as seating is limited," said the mayor of Culture and Heritage.
Carmen Maria also explained that the functions are represented in kindergartens of Alhama de Murcia in the morning so that the little ones can also enjoy the theater.
Following the children's programming theater Rodriguez noted that during the months of October, November and December are also several functions take place with suggestive titles such as "La casita de chocolate" or the musical "The Wizard of Oz" or " The Sleeping Beauty. "

Carmen Maria Rodriguez has also clarified the bet that the Department of Culture and Heritage continues to do for quality theater for adults.

Exhibitions
The series of exhibitions of the second half of the year will begin on Friday September 19 with a macro exposure Formateart Cultural Association, "Dialogues with abstraction" which opens at the Archaeological Museum Los Baños and also occupy the room Exhibition Centre The Granary.
Rodriguez noted that "Formateart is an association with a long history of forming students of ages ranging from four to five years to 80."
Another highlight of the semester exhibition which will take place in Los Baños Museum from October 31 to December 7, "A look at the origins of art" John A. Del Castillo.
"Throughout the semester will be happening exposures in the various public rooms of the town," said Carmen Maria Rodriguez.
One of the most innovative cultural activities of the semester will be held in early November, 7 and 8 in Film Velasco.

"There are some views that already took place on May 17, during the International Day of Museums, and due to its success will be made again, under prior registration at the museum on 18th October at 12pm and Sunday November 9 at 13h.
Themed activities
Among the thematic activities Culture and Heritage has prepared for this semester is the "Night Terror tour in El Castillo" which will feature a spectacular show performed by a theater group.
This activity on Friday, October 31st, Halloween night will be held.
From 20h small groups will emerge from the castle museum every 20 minutes.
The price of this activity is 5 € and Registration will be at the museum.
On 22 and 23 November a trip to Madrid, El Escorial, La Granja was also performed.
"The program includes many more activities like presentations of books, cd's musical in which the Department of Culture and Heritage is working since this new cultural projects. Well as other activities that we expect will please our neighbors," he concluded Rodríguez .
