The PSOE is the first and only game in Alhama to use this democratic method for the appointment of the candidate
After a primary process, candidates for mayor by the PSOE in the Region of Murcia already have names.
In Alhama we decided to propose and maximum ease this process a year ago, discussing and involving all members.
The result was the appointment of a sole candidate, Conesa Diego, which has won overwhelming support from the local membership.
Our Secretary General and decided in October 2013 to democratize the election of the candidate in the town (see: http://goo.gl/rqLwDy).
This last month consultation between all members, who earned a 100% support to facilitate an open primary process is also performed.
The PSOE thus becomes, to date, the first and only game in Alhama with municipal representation that uses this form of democratic participation.
The PSOE de Alhama want to congratulate all our members for their support and participation in the opening match, and has not resulted in a vote this Sunday the 19th to be only one candidate.
We also want to congratulate Diego Conesa, who will fight along with his team to be the mayor of our town next May.
