Last Sunday, November 16, Sendalhama ended its 2014 edition with an extraordinary local path that ended in a fellowship meal organized by the Department of Environment, at the premises of organic orchards Alhama de Murcia.
Therefore, Councillor for Environment, Diego Huertas, gave a press conference last week to take stock of what has passed this year.
First, Huertas wanted to highlight "the route last November 16 was extraordinary that the Department of Environment wanted to organize to thank all participants Sendalhama their involvement in this project."
Then the mayor of the Environment reviewed what has given him this edition Sendalhama 2014, "has been an issue in which there have been six routes and eight outputs. In total we have traveled 93.5 miles and involved a total of 972 walkers ".
Huertas also explained that in these six routes "have visited areas such as Sierra Espuña, the neighboring town of Aledo, a walk in the wells of Abarán and have also done a spectacular route through Calbalque".
The mayor noted the high interest of walkers for each of the routes and underlined the lack of incidents as one of the most favorable ratings of this edition.
Finally, the Councillor for the Environment has advanced is already working on the next edition of Sendalhama "which intend to commence before, in early March and realize if you can, a route more".
Moreover, Huertas has appealed to all those who are interested to participate next year "to the great family of Sendalhama join".
