Councilman Works and Services City of Alhama de Murcia, Miguel González, last week began a round of visits to classrooms fifth of the schools in the town.
In order to present a new recycling campaign cardboard and light packaging and promote a new competition among students.
The Department of Works and Services is underway, as was done last year, several awareness campaigns funded almost entirely by ECOEMBES.
The purpose of these campaigns is to improve recycling in the town of Alhama de Murcia.
The mayor told the media that the service concessionaire, ECOEMBES, performed periodically directly monitor the quality of service, and recent data obtained from the monitoring indicate, among other things, that in the town of Alhama Murcia installed container volume per capita is higher compared to the national average for municipalities with the same characteristics.

Campaigns and interest of the neighbors are bearing results, "among all has managed to increase year by year the volume of packaging, cardboard and glass are recycled and not carried landfill," he pointed the mayor.
