Last Saturday, February 28, "Rare Disease Day", was installed throughout the morning in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Alhama de Murcia a house in which he was informed and sensitized neighbors with the campaign 'gesture that changes everything "promoted by the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, FEDER.
A campaign various representatives of the government team of the town also joined with our mayor, Fernando Alfonso Morales Ceron, head.
The mayor showed their solidarity and support with D'Genes, Association of Rare Diseases in the town and recalled that "this type of disease, suffering seven percent of the world population, affecting more than 85,000 people just in the Region Murcia ".
Those involved in conducting this campaign in Alhama de Murcia were the representatives of the Association D'Genes in Alhama de Murcia, whose coordinator is Caridad Lopez.
Lopez took the opportunity to highlight once again the important function performed by D'Genes, "a function not only helps patients and families but also of study and research to advance the fight against these diseases."
