The mayor of Culture, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, next to Isabel Sánchez, social worker Totana Centre D'Genes and Cari Lopez, coordinator of this association in Alhama de Murcia, presented the exhibition "Rare Diseases full of life" which will be open from 9 April- until Sunday April-19 at the Plaza Vieja Cultural Center.
A traveling exhibition consists of 50 photographs, full of light, color and joy, showing the daily life of people with a rare disease, according to detailed Isabel Sánchez, social worker at the center of Totana D'GENES it comes, who also He thanked the cooperation of the Department of Culture to help visualize people with rare diseases.
This exhibition aims to put a face to the association and the people who compose it, as highlighted by Cari Lopez, coordinator of D'GENES in Alhama de Murcia, "can be seen daily from different people of different ages, each with a particular struggle, but with much joy of living, laughing and sharing ".
Isabel Lopez, social worker D'Genes, has also encouraged them to go to all those who want it and has shown its desire to establish in our town a small center of this association in order to provide better service to people with rare diseases and their families.
Carmen Maria Rodriguez, mayor of Culture, highlighted the work of the Association D'Genes, "always full of life, ideas and activities," he stated.
