On Thursday April 16 took place the Conference on Gender Violence directed at effective Guardia Civil, Local Police and Judicial Police.
These lectures, delivered at the premises of local police in Alhama de Murcia, aim to continue to train and sensitize public safety professionals on such a sensitive as that of gender violence issue.
The Agenda was given by Carmen Yago, social worker, the PAE of Alhama de Murcia, near the psychologist and legal adviser to the aforementioned organization, gathered some of the most important aspects to consider when working on cases GBV.
Thus, among the three professional explained the characteristics, types and manifestations of violence, talked about the myths surrounding this issue and reported in detail about what the Red Cavi and what is responsible.
They realized thorough way what are the procedures and precautionary measures and steps in compenciales judged on gender violence measures.
Also speaking Cristina García García, Head of the Unit for the Prevention of Violence on Women in the Government Office.
"These actions are intended to train all those who have to intervene in cases of domestic violence, as is the case with Guardia Civil and Local Police, who constantly have to deal with such cases," said Angela Sanchez, mayor Local Police.
Meanwhile, Maria Dolores Canovas, Councillor for Women, wanted to thank the excellent work done by professionals working in the PAE of Alhama de Murcia, and has shown that always working to keep giving from the Department of Women the tools needed to tackle such a sensitive and disturbing as that of gender violence issue.
