The government team committed all go hand in hand, with seriousness, rigor and firmness for a social price of desalinated water efficient reuse of rainwater and the defense of the Tajo-Segura.
It has been almost 15 years since leaders then hung the banner "Water for All" on the balcony of the main facade of the City of Alhama, as in many other municipalities.
A slogan that was an entire marketing campaign and political use of one of our most valuable public assets, but it was never accompanied by any action of combating drought and water shortages for those governments that made this slogan their emblem.
Now is the time to tell the truth and to join forces rather than divide and confront the residents of different territories.
The Local Government Board approved the removal of the banner at its first meeting last week.
Since the municipal government consider that there is no water policy seriousness, rigor in data, firmness in the claims and go together hand in hand.
So we do not see individual performances and do not take into account the social partners involved.
We must continue striving for a social price of desalinated water and continue investing in the collection and reuse of rainwater to not waste a single drop, and the defense of the Tajo-Segura.
