Councillor for Education and Health, Mariola Guevara, and the councilman of Social Services, Felipe Garcia, today made a new visit to the Early Childhood Center, after which they made last July 2.
The objective was to know their status and activities and services offered to children under six years with therapeutic needs arising from limitations and / or alterations in their development, or those at risk of suffering.
Specifically prevention, detection and diagnosis are offered and therapeutic intervention programs consisting of motor and sensory stimulation cognitive, motor, speech therapy and functional hearing, socio-emotional and family are developed.
Counseling is also done to the family and social environment.
The Early Childhood Center is located next to other units of the Health Center of Alhama.
