At noon on Thursday 27 it was held a meeting between the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Diego Conesa and President Cebag and several executives, including Martin Ceron, Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Employers and in turn was President of the Alhama Traders Association.
During the meeting, which has lasted for an hour and a half and was held in an atmosphere of great cordiality;
Cebag President, Jose Luis Hernandez, recalled that Diego Conesa worked fifteen years in the first stage of Cebag, as director of the Confederation and said it was good news that the Mayor of Alhama occupy an entrepreneur and business consultant, who knows the basics of business management experience that can be useful to transfer governance.
Throughout the meeting there has been a review of the situation of industry, tourism, agriculture and especially trade, both in Alhama and other towns in Lower Guadalentín sector, while some have been outlined ideas about the possible collaboration of Alhama and other Lower Guadalentín, with some initiatives and projects to improve the competitiveness and training of entrepreneurs and companies Alhama and other neighboring municipalities.
For which purpose the Mayor of Alhama has shown its readiness to consider possible actions coordinated with other municipalities, through a possible collaboration, via agreement with Cebag and integrated local and sectoral business associations.
By Cebag representation, and especially the President of the Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Lower Guadalentín (COAG), we have also moved among other matters, the Mayor of Alhama, Cebag disposal to assist in the promotion tourism in Sierra Espuña environment-in which has much to do Aledo, Alhama and Totana.
But they have transmitted Diego Conesa that it is necessary to solve the problem of eradication of Barbary sheep in Sierra Espuña, the problems and heavy losses it has generated in agriculture and livestock on the environment, as well as the obvious damage to the flora and Wildlife Park.
And especially because according to the values ​​Cebag- environmental tourism demand, are not exactly compatible with the Barbary sheep hunting tourism, according Cebag is mainly up to now has been promoted from the Commonwealth Tourism Espuña.
Alhama Mayor and the President and Directors of Cebag have finally agreed to stay in constant contact to see materialize and help develop some of the ideas and projects discussed at the meeting, as well as to regularly exchange views and positions on various aspects of mutual interest.
