On Thursday 24 September the Department of Social Services, in collaboration with Tunstall-Televida, company providing the service of local Telecare, gave a talk entitled "Improving your self with technical aids".

The meeting was attended by thirty people, who received information about different products technical support.

These aids save the great difficulties that arise when there is a problem to perform basic activities of daily life, as simple shifts (walker, wheelchair) WC (crane), eating (adapted spoons and forks), etc.

The aim is to standardize the use of such technical assistance, while reporting the wide range of products on the market to perform any activities of daily living.
