Francisco Martin Bernabe, head of Public Works and Infrastructure of the Autonomous Region, met this morning with the mayor of Alhama, in the first visit by a director of the Autonomous our town in this new legislature.
The meeting is part of the collaboration that will keep the City Council with the Ministry of Development for the next four years.
Diego Conesa has been forwarded to the Director, his concern over the state of the local roads of Las Canadas and Los Muñoces, "strangled for 20 years," he noted.
And "the need for sustainable development in Sierra Espuña through the road connecting with Alhama Pliego and Mula and which serves the districts of Gebas and watercress."
Among the issues discussed he has also stressed the future of the five districts and the County of Alhama, on which agreed on the need to "establish a shuttle service linking the city center with these areas to assist them in their progress and prevent a fall "noted Diego Conesa.
He added that "we will work fully based on similar experiences that have been launched in places like Torre Pacheco and Los Alcazares."
Barnabas stated that "at the request of Mayor we will implement this system of passenger, for this we have a new figure: the transport demand."
And he explained that "there are currently many unprofitable regular lines because there is no occupation of travelers who make profitable. With this service, routes and schedules are set by the transport company at the request of the user, who can do it via e- mail or by calling a toll free number, and the defendant transport operates regardless of the number of passengers ".
Asturias and Murcia were the first to implement this system, which "is doing quite well," he noted.
Conesa has clarified that "we know the needs of the districts through the meetings we have held so far and the Condado de Alhama have asked a study of the real needs that have to work with them."
The mayor has been asked to provide legal certainty to investments that seek to settle in large areas, especially in protected areas.
It has therefore called on the Ministry to accelerate procedures and avoid uncertainty in those development plans.
The City Council has shown its full cooperation with the regional administration on social housing, especially in the situation presented several families occupying such housing.
"We slowed rents, which in some cases are 6 euros a month, to ensure they can cope with the payment of rents," noted the Minister.
Recalling that "these families must also meet its obligations."
Finally, indicated Barnabas, "we have made an offer to Alhama to accede to the agreement SIV (Identification System Housing Murcia) consisting of geolocation and identification of all homes in the region, occupied houses and empty, through the consumption of water. "
In this plan are attached 27 municipalities of Murcia and "we believe Alhama for their potential must adhere and so I was confirmed by the Mayor," he ended.
