The mayor of Alhama, Diego Conesa, held a meeting on Tuesday with the area directors of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO), as well as its Director General.
At the meeting they discussed the industrial area of ​​the town at the heart of business development for the coming years.
The Mayor has transferred them the commitment of the government team to strengthen the position of Alhama in the shareholding of the company, while the Autonomous Region must be detached from the capital it holds.
The council offered to take the lead in the shareholding of Industrialhama SA, a company which was established in the 80s with a priority participation of the City.
In the mid 90s there was a capital injection by the Autonomous Community to make new investments and now, given the current situation, the Government is again proposed that the City who recover a significant portion of the shares of the company.
