This past Friday, November 20 and after an Assembly vote was held to elect the new Board of Civil Protection Volunteers of Alhama de Murcia.
The act had the presence of the mayor, Diego Conesa, the Councillor for Public Safety, Felipe Garcia and Councilman Citizen, Pedro Lopez "Piqui".
The vote has been elected Daniel Romera-led Mellado, as head of the group, as his deputy, Enrique Soto Reynoso candidacy.
The heads of group / team are: Lillo Hilario Herrera, Maria Angeles Garcia Cerda, Maria Jesus Lillo Cerda and Juan Mora Orcajada.
The Councillor for Public Safety took the opportunity to wish them well in this new venture "in which the cohesion of all volunteers will be critical, combining youth with experience and a clear commitment to training," stated Felipe Garcia.
He also thanked "the good work done in the last festivity of our town, where there has been a cooperative work environment and participation" highlighted.
From the Civil Protection body Alhama conducting a recognition to those who have worked during earlier stages, while have encouraged anyone interested to join as volunteers in this new journey.
