This morning the Councillor for celebrations Alicia Martinez, along with Francisco Rubio, Diego Crespo and Pedro Andreo Red, exhibited in the domed hall of the Museum of the Baths, the sixth edition of the Fiesta de la Matanza.
This new edition will be held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February in the marquee in effect at the fairgrounds.
At 9:30 Saturday activities start;
opening of the tent, cutting channels, exposure tools, musical performances, tasting sausages, sausages, fried, paella, and even crumbs.
On Sunday there will be tasting sausage, spicy sausage and sausage as well as the traditional pot with honey strawberries and flowers, all enlivened by different musical groups Alhama.
A so intense week where besides the activities concentrated at the fairgrounds, Alhama different catering establishments offer a gastronomic tour of tapas and dishes related to the killing.
Finally, Alicia Martinez has invited all residents to enjoy this new edition of the Fiesta de la Matanza, and pointed out that the council of Celebration will open an information service in the Office of Tourism.
