ELPOZO FOOD, along with other major national food companies has joined the initiative to organize open houses sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs and the Spanish Federation of Industries of Food and Beverage (IFLA) with the aim of improving citizens' knowledge of the processes of food products from receipt of raw materials to final packaging.
Specifically, the conference has been that several consumer groups, such as representatives of associations of Housewives, Consumers and Users, groups of students from Universities of Murcia, as well as responsible consumption of various municipalities in the Region of Murcia have known "in situ" the different production processes used to produce the wide range of foods marketed by ELPOZO.
This initiative, which this year marks the eighth edition has enabled nearly 30,000 people have been able to visit 400 companies since 2001.
These days are a sign of transparency in the food industry and are intended to enable consumers to see for himself the high health and safety assurances that are used to produce a food quality control in the sector, and strict regulations that characterize food production.
