Of the nearly one thousand of titles submitted to the VIII International Short Story Competition Alfonso Martínez-Mena, arrived from nearly every continent, a preliminary jury, comprising language and literature teachers selected 72 works which subsequently went through a jury.
This has made a selection of 12 titles that will both awards convocation.
To do so, on Saturday April 12 will meet the final jury, composed of writers and literature professors nationwide.
That same day he will announce the names of the winners, whose prizes will be delivered at a ceremony in the hall of the local Town Hall on Saturday 19 April at 20.30.
