A photographic competition aims to disseminate and publicize the benefits of the municipalities of the Commonwealth Tourism Espuña.
Juan Romero Canovas, president of the Commonwealth and Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, accompanied by members of the joint municipalities, was released this morning the call.
With the name "Fotoespuña'08", the tourism body has organized the first photo contest "Espuña Commonwealth" in which anyone can participate, if present previously unpublished photographs showing the charms of both the regional park as the municipalities Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Mula, Pliego and Totana.
Within the contest will be three thematic categories:
Category A: Nature and landscape.
Category B: Sustainability and mountain sports.
Category C: historic and artistic heritage and traditions in the municipalities of the commonwealth.
It will establish the following awards categories:
Category A:
First prize: 600 euros
Second prize: 300 euros
Third prize: 100 euros
Category B:
First prize: 600 euros
Second prize: 300 euros
Third prize: 100 euros
Category C:
5 second prizes of 300 euros each.
Commonwealth Tourism Services Espuña, created in 2001, has positioned the regional park and five municipalities of the environment, (Alhama de Murcia, Aledo, Mula, Pliego and Totana) the destination's best-known nature of the region.
This new proposal seeks to spread the spirit of sustainable tourism among the population and visitors and raise awareness of the benefits, opportunities and benefits we get from the care and respect the environment and building a sustainable future.
