The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Juan Romero Canovas accompanied by the mayors of Social Policy, Fina Garcia and Women's Soledad Tudela, has signed today, 28 July, an agreement with the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Immigration Joaquin Bascuñana, for the construction of a Centre for Child Care.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Directorate General of Family and Child EUR 8,383,316 subsidize the creation of 1679 new places in Care Centres for Children (CAIs) and Point of Care for Children ( PAIs) in 19 municipalities and representatives of 9 companies in the region.
In relation to the city of Alhama, the places created will be 74 and the grant is 500,000 euros.
