The hamlet of El Cañar has a new green space opened by the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Juan Romero Canovas.
On Saturday 9 August, the mayor of the municipality, accompanied by Councilman Pedanías, Soledad Tudela and by the headman, Ana Peñalver and other members of the Municipal Corporation uncovered the plaque commemorating the inauguration of a new space in Pueblo Nuevo equipped playground.
The garden features new landscaping, irrigation system, street lighting and benches and occupies about 900 square meters.
This is intended to give the parish a place of recreation and suitable for the meeting and coexistence of the neighbors.
Furthermore, this action is framed in the Works and Services Plan 2007 and aims to improve our parishes.
