Councilman Sebastián Moreno Joint registration submitted by a motion proposed 10 measures to achieve energy conservation and efficiency in the city of Alhama.
To do so is based on the 31 measures proposed to Congress Industry Minister Miguel Sebastian to achieve this objective in the Central Government, motivated by the new scenario that is derived from the rising price of oil and economic crisis that we are immersed.
Sebastian, mayor of the CDL, has sought the spirit of the measures proposed by the minister, coincidentally the same name, adapted to the city of Alhama therefore calls on the government team to develop a plan for saving and energy efficiency to the City Council contemplate at least the following measures:
1.
Conduct a training and information campaign on the instruments and energy saving benefits promoted by the Department of Consumer Affairs and Environment and supported by the Office of Consumer aimed especially at trade associations, women, industrial, educational, personal Hall, etc.
2.
Set in the case of electricity consumption by the council and other municipal buildings and public dependent on it, the binding target of a 10% effective in the first half of 2009 compared to same period in 2008.
3.
Improve energy efficiency in municipal facilities and street lighting, completely eliminating low-efficiency light bulbs by the year 2012.
4.
Limit the temperature inside the air-conditioned municipal buildings, not down 26 degrees in summer and remain above 21 degrees in winter.
5.-Install water-saving progressively in all faucets of public municipal buildings and other dependents of City Hall and conducting a campaign of information and free distribution of them among the population in collaboration with the municipal water company.
6.-To promote the implementation of an urban public transport service that will reach the industrial estate and the railway station.
7.-promote cycling urban transport, supporting the implementation of systems of bicycles for public use and urban bike lanes.
8 .- Set in the case of telephone use by the City binding target of a 10% effective in the first half of 2009 compared to same period in 2008.
9.
Establish a preference criterion in procurement procedures accredited energy companies, ie companies with AENOR.
10.
Establish a preference criterion in the procurement of vehicles to energy efficiency class A and electric vehicles when the market allows.
