The City of Alhama de Murcia through the Department of Culture has presented this morning during the 2008/09 Municipal School of Music.
Jesus Basauri, mayor of Culture, and the school director, José Antonio Ayala have reported the diversity of existing classes with opening hours and a variety of musical instruments.
Ayala noted that the number of students last year surpassed the 300 which has made this year have increased the number of places available.
In classes of "Introduction Music" involved children aged between 4 and 7 years, divided into two groups, one aged 4 and 5 years and another aged between 6 and 7.
These classes are taught in small groups of 12 students, so it will be about 6 groups.
For this class also has created a waiting list if there is low throughout the course.
The lessons of "Musical Language" are aimed at children aged over 8 years and the level of each student there are many classes with broad and flexible schedules.
Classes are individual instruments so that the schedule be adjusted to each teacher and their cost is 60 euros throughout the course.
Also included piano lessons that will take place from Monday to Friday at a cost of 32 euros per month and guitar lessons that are taught on Thursdays at a cost of 28 euros per month.
Individual classes will begin on 29 September, while group classes will begin on 1 October.
For those interested in singing, "The Coral" will rehearse on Tuesdays, and from October 1 will start a "Youth Choir" who tested on Friday afternoon.
The cost of enrollment for 2008/09 is 60 euros.
