The Mayor of Alhama, Juan Romero Canovas, accompanied by the mayor of Education Jose Miguel Muñoz, this morning visited six schools in the town on their first day of school after the summer holidays.
With the visit, the city sought to represent the one hand to welcome teachers and students and, secondly, ensure that the start of school went by normally.
The representative of the local Town Hall and the mayor visited the first school in the Coast has been largely restored and has 16 students who had already begun their classes when they received an unexpected visit.
Also, the mayors were also at Gloria Fuertes Infant School where over 150 students have joined gradually by age.
In sum, every school has started n the course smoothly and as planned.
The more college students has increased over the past year has been the CP Ricardo Codorniu has grown from 226 students, 123 and 103 in Infant Schools, to 289, 152 and 137 in Primary Children.

In total, between kindergarten and primary education in Alhama is a total of 2025 children enrolled, 74 more than last year.
