Yesterday, Monday 15 September, the mayor of Juan Romero Canovas, the rector of the Universidad del Mar Francisco Guillermo Díaz Baños and the Environment Councilman José Miguel Muñoz, inaugurated the course "Sustainability of social and leisure activities and sports natural areas "in the audiovisual room of the Cultural Center Plaza Vieja.
The course will run until Friday 19 September, with a duration of 30 hours, is intended to know in general the use and management plans of protected natural areas and those related to public use, to identify economic development opportunities social and currently pose to natural areas and its relationship to public use, to establish basic criteria for the realization of sustainable sports in the natural and practical way to know what the performance of these sports; address the need for consider sustainability criteria in carrying out recreational and educational activities in the natural environment.
This course consists of 25 students will be led by José María Egea Fernández, Professor of Botany at the University of Murcia, Manuel Guillén Eagle, Biologist and Environmental Technician City of Alhama and Juan de Dios Cabezas Cerezo, Forestry Engineer, director Conservative Espuña Regional Park in the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Planning.
