On Saturday, October 18, starts Local Futsal League organized by the city of Alhama through the Department of Sports, which like every year will pass along this season until May 2009.
In this new edition include a total of 23 teams, 5 of which are new, divided into two groups, A to a total of 11 teams that played in Hall Espuña and B, consisting of 12 teams and will do so in Polideportivo El Praico.
The matches will take place on Saturday at four in the afternoon over the coming months.

As a preamble to the Local League, on Friday 10 October, was held 24 hours Futsal Fair 2008, which involved a total of 22 teams that competed in the tournament steadily, from 20 hours to 14 hours Saturday October 11, proclaimed champion of the 24 Hours team "Lian-Sampo-Marquicos" finalist and runner "Las Cañadas", 3rd "Casas Valeros" and closing the honor roll as 4th-placed team "Nymphs."
