The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Parks and Gardens of the county, has developed a series of activities designed to improve the appearance and service of each municipality's green spaces.
In another line of action, Parks and Gardens develops a work intended for the protection and care of plant species that inhabit these places.
Framed in this last line, this summer launched a process to prevent the development of the gardens processionary the municipality.
The process is continuing these days with the spraying of the trees that can accommodate the above pest.
Specifically, from 14 to 16 October have been sprayed a total of 222 pine trees in the municipality of both the gardens and of schools to a total of 19 spaces.
Note that the spraying, as in the past, are completely safe products based on natural products, thus avoiding damage to our ecosystem and for the people.
Collection dates
On the other hand, the head of the Department of Parks and Gardens also reported to be these days will also be picked up the dates from the palms of public spaces, then proceed to clean up this protected species as well as fumigation against various pests, including weevils.
