This morning, Wednesday 22 October, Councillor for Social Policy, Fina García, with Sensi Tudela, head of the firm "The Key", have made a statement to inform the "I Plan for the integration of multicultural fact" that starts in the municipality.
Since 2003, several studies have been done locally on the phenomenon of immigration, looking at the profile and attitudes of this cohort study which culminated with the release of "I Integration Plan for 2006-2009 Multicultural Done ", which in addition to analyzing the fact of immigration proposes several actions to be taken in different areas, for coexistence between immigrants and indigenous people.
"A study paper is expressed in words alone," said the mayor of Social Policy, who then reported that the City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Social Policy, has decided to launch such actions.
There are currently 54 local citizens to national, European and 624 Polish, Portuguese, etc, and 4,085 non-EU and Morocco, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Romania, etc.
For this reality that creates indifference is what has created a committee in which all Councillors are represented, the committee seeks the implementation of the plan includes actions that under appropriate guidance and monitoring by us .
To this end the City has hired the company, "The Key" which is that once held both studies and the preparation and development of the plan, and currently is conducting, coordinating, meeting with the tissue municipal associations, trade unions, employers etc ...
Finally, the mayor has emphasized that this project is not just for immigrants but also for indigenous people as this plan has been created to improve relationships between the 2 groups.
