The City Council has published the award of scholarships to local athletes.
Jesus Basauri, Councillor of Sports City of Alhama de Murcia, announced this morning that were announced scholarships for athletes "in response to a commitment to the council."
The mayor explained that grants have been given to the various clubs and sports associations in the municipality with the Sports Council is also working with all those who play sports.
With these grants, with a total of 6,000 euros, is designed to help young people who are pointing out clearly.
Therefore, clarifying the responsibility for Sports, has been a prerequisite to qualify for the scholarships that the youth has competed in national championships.
The bases provide for another line of scholarships for athletes who have participated in international competitions.
These bases are hung on the bulletin board of City Hall and the Sports Department.
